Benjamin Sheehan is a classically trained composer and double bassist, with a Master of Music in composition from the Hartt School and a Bachelor of Arts with double major in mathematics and music from St. Olaf College. He works in the mediums of film scoring, concert music, and songwriting, and is a multi-instrumentalist, able to self record string bass, piano, electric bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, ukulele, glockenspiel, kalimba, xun, violin, and voice. Ben has written scores for both film and short film, as well as music for choreographers, and various pieces for small ensemble. He is currently working on an album of classical crossover music which will begin releasing early 2027. His home studio includes a collection of microphones from Roswell Pro Audio, Vanguard Audio, Line Audio, Placid Audio, Røde, Audio Technicha, and Shure, with preamps from Great River Electronics and Audient, and main monitoring on Antelope Audio Atlas i8 monitors, supplemented with Presonus Eris Pro 6 monitors for surround mixing.
